Orangeburg Prep came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Clarendon Hall Saints as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Orangeburg Prep let Landon Kuck and Charlie McCutchen run wild. Kuck scored two runs while going 1-for-2, while McCutchen scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. Morrison Burroughs also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.

Orangeburg Prep pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Clarendon Hall, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Orangeburg Prep will welcome Holly Hill Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Clarendon Hall, they will head out on the road to square off against Calhoun Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 31st.
