North Central AA Top Player Performances of the Week

Gannon Jacobson Drops League-Best Performance on Friday
Starting off the list is Southeast of Saline's Gannon Jacobson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jacobson rushed for 207 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 125 yards and three touchdowns. His longest rush was for an impressive 64 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The victory for Southeast of Saline keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Jacobson and Southeast of Saline will head out on the road to face off against Hillsboro at 5:03 p.m. on Friday.

Nickolas Kendall Delivers Best Performance of Season
Republic County was led to victory by Nickolas Kendall, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Kendall rushed for 83 yards, and also picked up 31 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Republic County's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3. Kendall's next game is against Remington on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Johnson Came Up Big in Ellsworth's 14-6 Victory
Ellsworth picked up their fifth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Landin Johnson. Johnson was dynamite, rushing for 111 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 111 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Johnson and Ellsworth will face off against Halstead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will pit Johnson up against the Dragons' star rusher Joey Millspaugh. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Kash Henke Dazzles in Republic County Victory
Another Republic County player making an appearance on this list is Kash Henke. He rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 120 yards and a touchdown.
For the season, Henke has thrown 2 touchdowns (and no picks) while averaging 35.6 passing yards per game.

Dom Matteucci Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Dom Matteucci of Sacred Heart. Matteucci picked up 59 receiving yards.
