Colorado Springs Christian can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 48-12 victory over Ellicott at home. The win was just what Colorado Springs Christian needed coming off of a 48-0 defeat in their prior contest.
Will Moore got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns. Daniel Hoggard got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Colorado Springs Christian's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Michael Olas and his 2.5 sacks.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Peyton at home against Rocky Ford on Thursday as the team secured a 45-7 win.
Noah Martin was a one-man wrecking crew for Peyton as he threw for 282 yards and five touchdowns while completing 85% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Martin's longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards. Another player making a difference was Brian Keairnes, who picked up 95 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Their wins bumped Colorado Springs Christian to 6-2 and Peyton to 4-4.

However, it's not like Peyton struggles in that department as they've been averaging 161.6 per game. It's looking like Friday's game might have some serious battles in the trenches.
