On Burroughs' side, Isabella Farinha made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Farinha has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in 11 consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. Those four runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Lorrain Gamble was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in February of 2024. Soriah Chancey was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI and one run.
