The Ganado Indians lost against the Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Ganado took a 38-23 bruising from Bloomington. Ganado has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bloomington was led to victory by Lizette Castillo and Khyli Proctor. Castillo scored four points along with 16 rebounds and two steals, while Proctor scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Proctor is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight.
Ganado has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-19 record this season. As for Bloomington, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-9.
Ganado does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bloomington, they will square off against Weimar at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bloomington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Tuesday.
