Sebastian River struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Martin County racked up 20.
Martin County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Karolina Ramirez out in front who scored 23 points along with 6 assists and 5 steals. Becca Witt was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 steals.
Sebastian River's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Martin County, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Sebastian River will head out on the road to face off against Port St. Lucie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Martin County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jensen Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Jensen Beach focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Tuesday.
