Miles hit Eldorado with a nine-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 21-9 to the Bulldogs.
Eldorado got a big performance out of Miley Doran, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Doran also put up a hit, which was her first of the season. Payten White was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Mia Obenhaus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Taelynn Oden was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Wheeler, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Colorado's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Eldorado, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
Eldorado might still be hurting after the 22-0 defeat they got from Colorado when the teams last played back in March. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
