6A Three Rivers recap October 29, 2013
Oregon City extended the longest winning streak in 6A Three Rivers this week by beating Lake Oswego, 21-17. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Clackamas led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Canby. Dan Sherrell ran for 174 yards and caught 2 passes for 16 yards in the win.
Lopeti Aisea was a beast in the backfield as Lakeridge beat West Linn.
Eric Dungey put up the best numbers through the air as the Pacers bested the Lions. He finished with 19 completions for 200 yards and 1 touchdown. Dungey's favorite target this week was J.R. Mclaughlin, who caught 6 passes for 67 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Lakeridge's Dungey and Mclaughlin have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-4 quarterback Dungey has thrown for 2,246 yards this season, while Mclaughlin has 53 catches for 1,054 yards. The Cavaliers' Sherrell leads the league in rushing yards with 1,590.
