Sunrise Christian Academy Silver was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Reno County HomeSchool apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Sunrise Christian Academy Silver's loss came despite strong showings from Iyzrel Graham and Xzavier Miller. Graham scored 20 points, while Miller scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Graham has scored all season.
Sunrise Christian Academy Silver's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Reno County HomeSchool, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.
Sunrise Christian Academy Silver and Oklahoma City S will face off at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Oklahoma City S will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 235th in Oklahoma, while Sunrise Christian Academy Silver is ranked 64th in Kansas). As for Reno County HomeSchool, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Liberty HomeSchool Alliance. Liberty HomeSchool Alliance knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matches -- so hopefully Reno County HomeSchool likes a good challenge.
