Blaine Friedmansky was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 14 on his way to 22 points and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Coffman, who went 5 of 9 en route to 16 points and three steals.
Meanwhile, Heyworth suffered their biggest defeat since December 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 68-46 to El Paso-Gridley. While losing is never fun, the Hornets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 409th, while the Titans are ranked 118th).
Lexington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Heyworth, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
