Semaj Gatson Dazzles in Marshall Victory
Starting off the list is Marshall's Semaj Gatson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Gatson rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September.
Whitehouse's probably not too fond of Gatson given he always seems to get the better of them. Gatson rushed for 160 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry the last time he and the Wildcats duked it out back in November of 2023.

Texas Wins Tenth-Straight Thanks to David Potter
Texas picked up their tenth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to David Potter. Nobody could stop Potter as he threw for 135 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Nacogdoches's probably not too fond of Potter given he always seems to get the better of them. When Potter last faced the Dragons back in October of 2023, he threw for 303 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 15.2 yards per attempt.

Big Game from Johnson As Texas Won 44-7
Texas picked up their tenth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Javari Johnson. Johnson turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 77 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
On the year, Johnson has run in 15 touchdowns while averaging 110.1 rushing yards per game.

Tradarian Ball was instrumental in extending Texas's winning streak to ten on Friday. Ball was dynamite, rushing for 42 yards and two touchdowns.
Unfortunately for Nacogdoches, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Ball. When Ball last faced the Dragons back in October of 2023, he rushed for 185 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.3 yards per carry.
