That result was just more of the same for these two, as Laurel also won the last time the pair played last Friday.
Stone lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ray Dennis, who scored 11 points. Cleon Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Laurel is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 19-10 record this season. As for Stone, their loss dropped their record down to 19-7.
Laurel has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Wayne County at 8:30 p.m. on February 9th. Wayne County is coming into the game with ten straight wins on the road, meaning Laurel will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. Stone does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
