Douglas Sample put up the most stolen bases he's had since back in February on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Woodland is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-15 otherwise.

Sample's strong effort led Woodland over Eagle's Landing and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles are limping into the matchup having lost 20 straight at home dating back to last season.
