Jake Boone gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Summers County is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 4-13-1 otherwise.

Boone's strong effort led Summers County over Midland Trail and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
