The Pleasantville Greyhounds will be staying on the road on Sunday to face off against the Atlantic City Vikings at 2:00 p.m. on February 4th. Pleasantville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Vikings are ranked 61st).
Last Tuesday, Pleasantville came up short against the Tigers and fell 62-50.
Meanwhile, Atlantic City waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They took down Hammonton 60-46.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Atlantic City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Khajuan Roseborough, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Roseborough hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Chris Finks, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Pleasantville now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Atlantic City, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
Pleasantville barely slipped by the Vikings in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, winning 54-53. Does Pleasantville have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
