Leading White Plains to victory were Ineivi Plata and Sequoia Layne. Plata scored 25 points along with 8 assists and 5 rebounds, while Layne scored 30 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Tess Haddad, who scored 9 points.
Clarkstown South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for White Plains, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Clarkstown South will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Ossining at 6:00 p.m. As for White Plains, they will head out on the road to face off against North Rockland at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
