The Sweet Springs Greyhounds's six-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 57-25 win over Norborne at home. The win was just what Sweet Springs needed coming off of a 75-40 defeat in their prior game.
Norborne's loss came despite strong showings from Braydon Cook and Hudson Matthews. Cook scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two blocks, while Matthews scored no points.
Sweet Springs' win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Norborne, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sweet Springs will take on Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Norborne, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Brunswick at 7:30 p.m. Brunswick presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Norborne in Missouri (Brunswick is ranked 242nd, while Norborne is ranked 552nd).
