Cornerstone Charter Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ridgeview Global Studies Academy 73-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Ducks have posted since January 20th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cornerstone Charter Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Devan Domadia, who went 6 of 11 en route to 18 points. Domadia's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Wood, who went 6 for 9 on his way to 14 points and five steals.
Meanwhile, Foundation Academy waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They snuck past the Eagles with a 69-64 victory.
Foundation Academy's win came from a few key players Cornerstone Charter Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Alex Nichols, who went 7 of 13 en route to 19 points in addition to eight assists and five boards. What's more, he also racked up five steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Riley Michels was another key player, going 7 for 11 on his way to 21 points along with seven blocks and five rebounds.
Cornerstone Charter Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.9 points per game. As for Foundation Academy, their record now sits at 17-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Cornerstone Charter Academy has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32 boards per game. However, it's not like Foundation Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
