Fort Lupton lost against Severance back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bluedevils came up short against the Silver Knights, falling 3-0. The Bluedevils' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Fort Lupton took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-15, 26-24.

Sebastian Gallegos paced Fort Lupton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gallegos got some help from Aaron Encinia and his 12 assists.

Fort Lupton's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Severance, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fort Lupton will take on rival Windsor Charter Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Severance is set to face off against their familiar foe Eagle Ridge Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
