Luther is 0-10 against the since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Luther Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodmere Academy at 5:30 p.m. Luther has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Even though Morrisville-Eaton scored an imposing 68 points on Saturday, Luther still came out on top. Luther strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 86-68.
Tristan Elcock was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Justin Trail was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Woodmere Academy pushed their score all the way to 57 two weeks ago, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Friends Academy 63-57.
Luther now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Woodmere Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
