Corona del Sol's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bo Dolinsek, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Dolinsek is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Shokoi Yarde, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Diego Sarabia, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Grandin Gustafson was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Corona del Sol now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Queen Creek, they dropped their record down to 11-11 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Corona del Sol will challenge the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Allowing an average of 61.8 points per game, Desert Ridge has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this game. As for Queen Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Thunder at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Averaging 68.95 points so far this season, Desert Vista's high-powered offense has been in full-swing lately, so the Bulldogs better be ready for a challenge.
