The Lookout Valley Yellowjackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 51-13 loss at the hands of Copper Basin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lookout Valley in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost eight in a row.
Copper Basin got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Peyton Grabowski out in front who scored seven points along with eight steals and six rebounds. Kendra Deal was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five steals.
Lookout Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Copper Basin, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lookout Valley will challenge the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Copper Basin, they will head out on the road to face off against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
