Sadly, the Far Northeast W Warriors are still looking for their first win of the season after 20  matchups. They took a  63-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hinkley on Wednesday. Far Northeast W was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hinkley apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in February of 2023.
 Despite the loss, Far Northeast W still got an impressive performance from   Devan Womley, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and nine  rebounds. Another player making a difference was  Steve Griffin, who  scored ten points along with three  steals.
 Even though they lost, Far Northeast W  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 16  offensive rebounds. That's the most  offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
 Far Northeast W's defeat was  their sixth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 0-20. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Hinkley, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Far Northeast W will take on Northfield at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Hinkley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westminster at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked  in Colorado (Westminster is ranked 218th, while Hinkley is ranked 241st).
