Exeter Township is 2-8 against Wilson since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Eagles will host the Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. Exeter Township will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
Exeter Township gave up the first runs last Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They blew past Daniel Boone 12-1. Considering the Eagles have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Gavin Miller tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Exeter Township let Jake Hafer and Carter Redding run wild. Hafer went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Redding scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs Redding has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Matt Woram, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Wilson fell victim to Muhlenberg and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Muhls by a score of 1-0. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
Wilson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Marmolejos, who went 2-for-7 with one stolen base and one double.
Exeter Township's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Wilson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Exeter Township has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Wilson struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 9.3 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Exeter Township came up short against Wilson when the teams last played back in March, falling 11-6. Will the Eagles have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
