Diamond strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Pierce City Eagles get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. With that victory, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Kale Adams, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He also put up a home run, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Adam Brown, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI and one triple.

Diamond pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Pierce City, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Diamond will take on Miller at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pierce City, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Sarcoxie at 5:00 p.m.
