In a tight match that could have gone either way, Choctaw County made off with a 59-58 win over East Webster. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Caleb Cunningham continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 22 points along with eight rebounds and two steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jakarius Weaver, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Choctaw County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for East Webster, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-5.
