Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Center Hill). Their defense stepped up to hand Lake Cormorant a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Mustangs needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Center Hill's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-7. As for Lake Cormorant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Center Hill will face off against South Panola at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Cormorant, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 4-0 defeat against Corinth on the 7th.
