Baseball Recap: Lake Lure Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Lake Lure Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles, falling 12-0. If the Raptors were looking for revenge after losing 28-5 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lake Lure Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Lake Lure Classical Academy will head out to square off against Christian Family Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Raptors are facing the Fire at the right time seeing as the Fire are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy on the 22nd.
