Calistoga has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 25 points or more this season.
Calistoga found their leader in underclassman Diego Perez, who scored 32 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perez has scored all season. Oreo Infante was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds.
The win was the third in a row for Calistoga, bringing their record for this year to 14-6. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.33 points. As for Grace Christian Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calistoga will challenge Buckingham Charter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Buckingham Charter is on a three-game streak of home wins, Calistoga a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Grace Christian Academy on the road again on Friday and play against Technology at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Technology is ranked 1201st, while Grace Christian Academy is ranked 1208th).
