Baseball Recap: First Coast Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

First Coast Christian barely beat Cedar Creek Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The First Coast Christian Knights were the clear victor by an 11-4 margin over the Cedar Creek Christian Saints on Thursday. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Noah Crammer, who scored two runs and stole three bases. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Jones-Rudy, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

First Coast Christian pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.4 runs over those games. As for Cedar Creek Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, First Coast Christian is taking a road trip to square off against Covenant School of Jacksonville at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Covenant School of Jacksonville will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something First Coast Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cedar Creek Christian, they will welcome Harvest Community at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
