A Season-Best  Performance from  Kartell Purvis Leads Mater Dei Catholic over Chula Vista
 Mater Dei Catholic was led to victory by  Kartell Purvis, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Purvis threw for 257 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt.

 While  La'Darrione Perkins delivered a dominant  effort  on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Chula Vista. Nobody could stop  Perkins as he made four total tackles and defended a pass. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending a pass.
 Chula Vista is  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-4. Perkins and Chula Vista will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sweetwater at 6:30  p.m.  on October 25th.
