Basketball Recap: Lincoln Has No Trouble Against Vaughn

While Lincoln didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Vaughn White Tigers 67-43 on Monday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Vaughn's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ruben Herrera, who posted ten points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Cano, who earned ten points and five rebounds.

Lincoln has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.3 points. As for Vaughn, their record is now 2-6.

Coincidentally, Lincoln and Vaughn will both be playing San Fernando the next time they take the court. Vaughn will head out to face San Fernando at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, while Lincoln will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
