Whitinsville Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caleb Deters, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zeke Plantinga, who scored 11 points.
Leading Hopedale to victory were Robbie Manning and Patrick Madden. Manning scored 15 points, while Madden scored 21 points. Madden is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last six games he's played. Alex Lannibois was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with ten rebounds.
Whitinsville Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Hopedale, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.
Whitinsville Christian will be playing at home against the Bernardians at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. St. Bernard's Central Catholic is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses. As for Hopedale, they will head out on the road to challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Maynard has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 185 points over their last three matches.
