McCallum has gone a perfect 10-0 against Navarro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Vikings at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
On Tuesday, McCallum didn't have quite enough to beat Bastrop and fell 3-2. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 25-18 in the first set.
While McCallum ultimately came up short, they really made Bastrop work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 27-25, 25-23, 20-25, 15-5.

Despite the defeat, McCallum had strong showings from Elizabeth Peables, who had six aces and three digs, and Kafia Jackson-Woods, who had eight kills and seven digs. Jackson-Woods is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last seven games she's played.
Meanwhile, Navarro came up short against Anderson on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost eight in a row.
Navarro took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-9, 25-10.
Navarro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for McCallum, their loss dropped their record down to 22-10.
Everything went McCallum's way against Navarro when the teams last played back in September, as McCallum made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
