Luke Sickmeir posted a new career-high in runs on Tuesday. He scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also put up a home run, which was his first of the season.

Sickmeir's strong effort led Wauconda over Round Lake and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are 9-1 against the Panthers going back to May of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
