The Chattanooga Prep Sentinels and the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Chattanooga Prep will be looking to keep their 11-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
After only two points in their last game, Chattanooga Prep made sure to put some points up on the board against Tyner Academy on Friday. Chattanooga Prep blew past Tyner Academy 67-38 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Chattanooga Prep has posted since December 8, 2023.
Chattanooga Prep relied on the efforts of Ta'Suade Williams, who scored 16 points, and Derrick Roberson, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Gaines, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts' recent rough patch got a bit rougher back in December of 2023 after their fourth straight loss. They fell 56-43 to Loudon.
Chattanooga Prep has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
