The Coral Park Rams and the Miami Beach Hi-Tides will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 18th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Coral Park is hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Coral Park scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They put the hurt on Marathon with a sharp 76-50 win.
Meanwhile, Miami Beach waltzed into their matchup Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They enjoyed a cozy 74-58 win over JC Bermudez Doral. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Miami Beach to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samuel Goldstein, who scored 16 points. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Baptiste T, who scored 15 points.
Coral Park's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Miami Beach, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.
Coral Park strolled past Miami Beach in their previous matchup back in January of 2020 by a score of 74-57. Will Coral Park repeat their success, or does Miami Beach have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
