Tabb is a perfect 10-0 against Lafayette since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Rams at 4:30 p.m. Tabb will be strutting in after a win while Lafayette will be coming in after a defeat.
Tabb had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Warwick on Monday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Raiders. The Tigers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st (when they won 28-6).

Jada Olexa made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (five). She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other pitching news, Mika Hilburger looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Rosemary Remington was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Means, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Lafayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 40th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Grafton, falling 15-1.
Lafayette saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makayla Brooks, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Tabb's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-9. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Lafayette, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-19.
Tabb took their victory against Lafayette in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 20-10 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
