After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warrensville Heights, the Maple Heights Mustangs were happy to have found some success on Monday. Everything went their way against North as Maple Heights made off with a 53-29 victory.
Brooklyn Dillard was her usual excellent self, scoring 27 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jovannah Nichols, who scored nine points.
Maple Heights is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for North, they dropped their record down to 4-15 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home.
Maple Heights will take on the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lorain is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for North, they will head out on the road to challenge the Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
