Marked Tree had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-9 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They skirted past the Crowley's Ridge Academy Falcons 10-9. The Indians' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

As for Crowley's Ridge Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6. On the bright side, the nine- run effort marked their highest-scoring contest to date.

For Crowley's Ridge Academy's part, Dayton Holland made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Those runs were Holland's first of the season.

Marked Tree does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crowley's Ridge Academy, they will host Armorel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
