Randolph-Henry won against Prince Edward County on Monday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Everything went the Statesmen's way against the Nottoway Cougars as they made off with a 15-2 win. Considering the Statesmen have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Randolph-Henry's third in a row) raised their record to 12-7. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Nottoway, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Randolph-Henry will head out on the road to take on Southampton on Thursday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Statesmen's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Nottoway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
