  Miya Gagne and  Renee Arcand certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss.  Gagne  had 29  digs, while  Arcand  had 12  digs and two  aces. Gagne is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in the last four games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Douglas is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record  this season. As for Blackstone-Millville,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-5.
 Douglas will challenge Nipmuc Regional at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Nipmuc Regional will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Douglas surely won't give up without a fight. As for Blackstone-Millville, they will face off against Whitinsville Christian at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
