On Friday Northwest Christian School take on Oroville at 7:00 PM. Northwest Christian School have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
After having lost a blowout in their match two weeks ago against Tri-Cities Prep, Northwest Christian School were happy to find some success last Friday. Northwest Christian School won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Liberty 21-20. Senior Eli Sander was the offensive standout of the match for Northwest Christian School, as he caught passes for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with 14 tackles Sander was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, if Oroville were riding high off their 45-14 takedown of Soap Lake two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Oroville suffered a grim 16-49 defeat to Omak.
Northwest Christian School's win lifted them to 3-1 while Oroville's defeat dropped them down to 2-2. We'll see if Northwest Christian School's success rolls on or if Oroville are able to steal their positive momentum.
