Menno/Marion will be playing at home against Chester at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Menno/Marion, and their game last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They took a serious blow against Irene/Wakonda last Friday, falling 22-64. Menno/Marion's defeat came about despite a quality game from junior Gavin Pankratz, who passed for 291 yards and 3 touchdowns. If you haven't heard Pankratz's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past seven games.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-45, which was the final score in Chester's tilt against Howard. This makes it the second loss in a row for Chester.
