Word of God Academy has struggled against Christian Home Educators Fellowship recently, as their match on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Word of God Academy saw an underclassman step up: Shiloh Brokenberry scored 18 points along with five rebounds. The match was Brokenberry 's 13th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Danielle Haynes , who scored two points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Word of God Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Christian Home Educators Fellowship, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
