School of the Ozarks and Bradleyville are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2017, but not for long. School of the Ozarks put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They put the hurt on Galena with a sharp 64-43 win. The score was close at the half, but School of the Ozarks pulled away in the second half with 37 points.
School of the Ozarks had a senior duo take command as Graham Wilhoit dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds and Caleb Widner scored 20 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Wilhoit scored 15 or more points. Shadrach Thompson was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Bradleyville suffered their biggest loss since December 4, 2023 two weeks ago. They were dealt a 97-61 defeat at the hands of Cassville. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
School of the Ozarks has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Bradleyville, they bumped their record down to 0-14 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.
Everything came up roses for School of the Ozarks against Bradleyville in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 75-32 victory. With School of the Ozarks ahead 37-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.
