Ashbrook suffered a tough 24-3 defeat at the hands of Kings Mountain. Ashbrook has struggled against Kings Mountain recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Kings Mountain found their leader in underclassman Josiah Hill, who rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Hill is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last four games he's played.
Ashbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Kings Mountain, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
Ashbrook will head out on the road to face off against Huss at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th. As for Kings Mountain, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Crest at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th. Crest is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
