The Beddingfield Bruins will head out on the road to take on the Princeton Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Beddingfield won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 61-29 loss at the hands of Eastern Wayne. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Beddingfield has scored all season.
Beddingfield's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Natasha Marshall, who scored 13 points, and Sa'Naiya Coppedge who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Princeton's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight defeat. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 52-29 walloping at the hands of Spring Creek.
Beddingfield's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Princeton, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-14.
Everything came up roses for Beddingfield against Princeton in their previous meeting back in January as the team secured a 66-24 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Beddingfield since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
