Bellflower's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Gahr on Monday. The Buccaneers claimed a resounding 35-6 win over the La Mirada Matadores. The result was nothing new for the Buccaneers, who have now won eight contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Bellflower found their leader in freshman Kendyll Upshaw, who threw for 207 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 37 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Jade Walker was Upshaw's top target, picking up 50 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 45 yards.
