 On Holmes' side, they let  Hannah Rojas and  Melanie Vargas loose on the outfield. Rojas  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4, while  Vargas  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lauren Gonzalez, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI.
 Stevens' loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Holmes, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-10-1.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stevens will  challenge Harlan at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Holmes, they will head out on the road to  take on  Sotomayor at 9:00  a.m.  on Friday. Holmes is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
